At Pasture One, we have worked hard to bring together a group of ranchers that are able to provide high-quality, grass-finished beef 365 days of the year with no added hormones or antibiotics.  Together, we improve beef quality through holistic pasture management processes that focus on animal welfare, soil health, and grass quality.  It’s all part of a balanced and holistic process that we promote with our producers. And it’s a labor of love.

So now that we’ve painstakingly put all this work into raising these fine animals, it’d really be a shame to let one ounce go to waste.  For every load of cattle we bring in, we do our best to find customers for each and every cut, from household names like Ribeye and Tenderloin, to cuts you’ve never heard of before like Teres Major and Inside Skirt (what?).  Whether it’s cut into your classic steak, roast low and slow for flavor, or ground up into your favorite tacos, one animal yields a lot of meat, and we have to find a home for it all!  Also a labor of love.

…now that we’ve painstakingly put all this work into raising these fine animals, it’d really be a shame to let one ounce go to waste.

But believe it or not, even after you have your steak, roast, and your taco, there’s still a lot of stuff left over – trim, fat, bones, etc.  So bit by bit, we’re trying to find new and exciting ways to get it to you.  Hence…the rollout of of our new hot dogs, sausages, and ground beef brick!  You see, hot dogs and sausages take a lot of our trim, package them into a delicious case, and make it ready for your barbecue! And trim ground up into bricks make for some delicious burgers or addition to any stir fry!  And who knows what could come next – Broth? Tallow? Pet food? Hand bags?!  More labor and more love.

And it’s all worth it.  Our entire team puts a lot of work and love into getting you the best-tasting consistent quality beef, and the more ways we can share that with you, the more we love our work.  We aim to spread the love and enjoyment of grass-fed beef, far and wide, so our hot dogs, sausages, and bricks will surely be in a store near you very soon!
