Matt Landis brings close to a decade of experience in the grass-fed beef industry to the Pasture One team. Matt was a founding team member at Teton Waters Ranch (TWR) and led sales throughout most of his tenure at TWR until his departure in the summer of 2017. While sales were always Matt's main focus at TWR, he also wore several other hats over the years. Since TWR's launch Matt helped to develop the initial product line and go-to-market strategy, he helped to develop TWR's branding, secured co-packers, ran operations & logistics, secured broker contracts, and helped with product R&D. Prior to working in the beef industry Matt had a successful career in environmental planning before joining TWR in 2006 where he found his true passion – making a difference in our environment by helping to expand the 100% grass-fed and grass-finished cattle industry. Matt lives in Denver with his wife and 2 sons and enjoys cycling, fishing, and cooking.

Elisabeth Michaels grew up in Montreal, Canada speaking French. After attending culinary school, she worked in several restaurants in various capacities. After realizing that the restaurant world was not where she wanted to spend her career, she decided to get a graduate diploma in business management at the Montreal University Business School while working as a production coordinator in advertisement.
In 2003 she embarked on a yearlong world trip, eventually settling down in Boulder, Colorado. Soon after, she had two kids who both developed various food sensitivities. Relearning how to cook without those allergens rekindled her love for cooking and eventually inspired her to found Zaza Raw, a vegan dessert company, which she ran for several years. Elisabeth is very passionate about food and the food industry, but in particular, she is focused on the quality of ingredients. She is thrilled to be a part of Pasture One, where she can work from inside the industry to help promote the values and benefits of quality ingredients.
Elisabeth lives in Golden, Colorado with her husband and kids and enjoys running, biking, skiing and of course cooking!
